My husband and I stayed in this nicely furnished studio for our anniversary. After looking at other condos, we found this to be more modern and comfortable with a large screen tv and a nice kitchen to work with. I hadn't seen it mentioned, but was thrilled to have a Japanese toilet too. The check-in, check-out process was so easy and it's very convenient not to have to carry a key around when you go to the beach.
Yes, the air conditioner is on the noisy side, but probably not that different from ours at home. We didn't really use the balcony that much because it does face other tall hotels and everyone's balconies face each other (even though you're far apart). Plus, these beautiful floor to ceiling glass doors were our dream, but my reality is I actually prefer privacy. We did rent a car, and although the valet parking price is consistent with other condos, it feels quite pricey. However, with the car, you do get to see much more of Hawaii, and for us, we spent much more time outside of Waikiki and away from many of the tourists. During this time, you do need to make reservations for fancier restaurants. I was very pleased with this studio and felt the owner/agency did a good job making it comfortable and modern. We actually never spoke because the check-in process was so clear.

The condo was clean and had all advertised amenities. We could see the Hilton lagoon and the beach from our balcony. AC works very well. Rental agency is very responsive and accommodating. Only few issues: door of the bathroom closet didn’t stay in its rail, some of the baseboards were loose including the threshold between the entrance and the main room, and the main issueis the dishwasher door doesn’t open completely therefore you can’t easily put the dishes in the lower rack. The door hits the side of the fridge. The building is very conveniently located and has a lot of nice stores and the best breakfast in town but the elevators are quite slow and often too full (august) to get on. Sometimes you need to wait 3 or 4 elevators before you can get on one of them. Better take the service elevators then. Change for quarters for the laundry room should have more than one location on the 7th floor.

This is the third time that we have stayed at the Ilikai and we love its location In Waikiki!
This room was clean with a good sofa and great kitchen.
The only faults were that it didnt have a king-size bed, the A/C was very noisey and the water pressure in the shower was Terrible!
But all in all it was yet anothr great stay in Oahu and the room was great.

Evaluation of 928 Ilikai for Myland Realty.
Kitchen utensils and appliances adequate for our needs.
Cleaning supplies were in inadequate. Only dish soap provided
Bedding plentiful and clean
One set of Towels for a two week stay inadequate and they need a good professional clean and bleaching
Kitchen towels, inadequate, and only one sponge for washing dishes and cleaning counters.
Windows were dirt smeared, especially noticeable when sun shone through
Floors appear clean but slippers and bare feet were ‘black’ walking on them.
Fatigue mat at the sink area of the kitchen floor is much in need of a proper clean or replacement. Paper towel was black when cleaning it from a spill or water.
Threshold from hall into main bed sitting area has come loose and should be secured to prevent a trip by someone unaware.
The requirement for us to wash towels during our stay, we have never experienced before. A change of towels should be included and not an expectation to wash or pay for an extra load of washing.
Supplies for cleaning the toilet and floors should be provided along with gloves
As with last year, we appreciated Myland’s courteous staff.
Not sure if the supply inadequacies noted are owner or Myland Realty related.
But a review of the terminal cleaning service is certainly in order, as renters are paying for it.
Brighter LED light bulbs would be an asset.

We loved everything about this place. It was located beside the Hilton Hawaiian Village and overlooked the lagoon. We were able to walk anywhere in Waikiki, we took the bus which is caught right in front of the building for places further in Honolulu, and rented a car twice to go further around the island. We were there a month and didn’t require a rental car because of the location. The unit itself was very well provisioned with everything we needed. It is the first one off the hall beside the elevators but there is no noise at all from the evaluators and almost no hallway noise. The building was built in 1964 but it is every well maintained. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Stylish interior,clean unit, nice size for our family,close to beach, shopping and everything! We definitely want to back to stay this unit when we back to Hawaii next time.See you next time, thank you Myland Hawaii!!
